Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Bound for Spain (boundforspain.com). For any privacy-related queries, contact us at boundforspain@proton.me.

What data we collect

When you subscribe to our free guide, we collect your email address. We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, or any other personal information through this website.

If you book a paid consultation, payment is processed by a third-party provider (Stripe). We do not store your payment details.

How we use your data

We use your email address to:

  • Send you the free five-part email guide you subscribed to.
  • Send a weekly newsletter with information about studying in Spain.
  • Occasionally send information about paid consultation services.

The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent, given when you confirmed your subscription. You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing — every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Data processors

We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 55 rue d'Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France) to manage our email list and send emails. Brevo processes your email address on our behalf under a data processing agreement compliant with the GDPR. You can read Brevo's privacy policy at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.

How long we keep your data

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from our active lists. You may request full deletion at any time by writing to us at boundforspain@proton.me.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Request portability of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at boundforspain@proton.me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Cookie Policy

This website uses no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, and no advertising cookies.

The only cookies present are strictly necessary technical cookies set by Next.js (the framework that runs this website) to maintain basic session functionality. These cookies do not collect personal data and do not require your consent under GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. If this changes, this policy will be updated and a cookie consent mechanism will be added.
